L\u2019histoire est aliment\u00e9e par un dosage \u00e9quilibr\u00e9 d\u2019humour cors\u00e9 ainsi que par des rebondissements qui semblent absurdes et insoluble au premier abord, mais qui finissent toujours par trouver leur utilit\u00e9. Seul les quelques notes de romance paraissent un peu trop forc\u00e9es et ralentissent l\u2019intrigue.<\/p>\n<p>Un travail sur des couleurs satur\u00e9es et des lumi\u00e8res n\u00e9on pourvoit ce long-m\u00e9trage d\u2019une atmosph\u00e8re irr\u00e9elle\u00a0; tant\u00f4t chaleureuse, tant\u00f4t glaciale. La musique toute \u00e0 fait inappropri\u00e9e aux situations fournit davantage de ridicule et d\u2019extravagance au r\u00e9cit. Ces partis pris stylistiques ont beau faire distancer le spectateur de la trame, n\u2019emp\u00eache que la mise en sc\u00e8ne magistrale et les retournements de situation continus tiennent le spectateur en haleine et le rendent pour le moment aveugle aux raccourcis et incoh\u00e9rences sc\u00e9naristiques.<\/p>\n<h3>New Cinema From Asia<br \/>\nYan Qing, CN, 2016, 96\u2019, peppered film noir<\/h3>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<hr \/>\n<div class=\"embed embed-responsive embed-responsive-16by9\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1170\" height=\"658\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/-baXUhHB1pM?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<div class=\"su-spoiler su-spoiler-style-fancy su-spoiler-icon-arrow-circle-1\" data-scroll-offset=\"0\" data-anchor-in-url=\"no\"><div class=\"su-spoiler-title\" tabindex=\"0\" role=\"button\"><span class=\"su-spoiler-icon\"><\/span>Los Parecidos<\/div><div class=\"su-spoiler-content su-u-clearfix su-u-trim\">Sous un orage anormalement violent, des voyageurs en direction de Mexico City se sont r\u00e9fugi\u00e9s dans une station de bus pendant la nuit. Fix\u00e9s sur leurs propres probl\u00e8mes, ils ne s\u2019aper\u00e7oivent pas comment une menace venue d\u2019ailleurs prend lentement forme. Ce huis-clos est une d\u00e9claration d\u2019amour aux films de science-fiction des ann\u00e9es 1950-1960 et a tout en lui pour devenir lui-m\u00eame un classique du genre.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/student.unifr.ch\/spectrum\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/los-parecidos.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-3469\" src=\"http:\/\/student.unifr.ch\/spectrum\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/los-parecidos-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"Los Parecidos\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/student.unifr.ch\/spectrum\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/los-parecidos-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/student.unifr.ch\/spectrum\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/los-parecidos-335x223.jpg 335w, https:\/\/student.unifr.ch\/spectrum\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/los-parecidos.jpg 1000w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>\u00c0 plusieurs niveaux de lecture, ce long-m\u00e9trage dispose d\u2019une intrigue qui se d\u00e9veloppe autant par ses actions et dialogues que par sa colorim\u00e9trie et sa musique. Cette derni\u00e8re est d\u2019ailleurs tr\u00e8s pr\u00e9sente au long du film: sur 89 minutes de film, 72 comportent une bande-son dont la qualit\u00e9 est proche d\u2019un <strong>Bernhard Herrmann<\/strong>. Des \u00e9l\u00e9ments <strong>lynchiens<\/strong> et <strong>hitchcockiens<\/strong> y sont clairement identifiables, mais ont \u00e9t\u00e9 trait\u00e9 de fa\u00e7on \u00e0 ce que quelque chose de nouveau en \u00e9mane. Le jeu d\u2019acteur est particuli\u00e8rement bien ma\u00eetris\u00e9 par l\u2019antagoniste, qui ex\u00e9cute une performance inqui\u00e9tante et proche du diabolique.<\/p>\n<p><em>Los Parecidos<\/em> ou <em>The Similars<\/em> est le second film d\u2019<strong>Isaac Ezban<\/strong>, un talent \u00e9mergent du cin\u00e9ma mexicain qui nous a fait l\u2019honneur de sa pr\u00e9sence au <strong>NIFFF<\/strong>. Il nous livre ici une \u0153uvre tr\u00e8s personnelle, o\u00f9 la limite entre \u00e9tranget\u00e9 et ridicule est tr\u00e8s fine. Rappelant <strong>Kubrick<\/strong> pour ces partis-pris formels, il aborde la th\u00e9matique de l\u2019exc\u00e8s maladif en milieu urbain\u00a0: drogue, sexe et pressions caus\u00e9es par une profession \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9thique douteuse. Au fur et \u00e0 mesure que le protagoniste sombre dans un cercle vicieux, le spectateur a de moins en moins d\u2019empathie pour lui. Mais malgr\u00e9 l\u2019aspect sinistre et d\u00e9rangeant de ce long-m\u00e9trage, <em>Creative Control<\/em> contient des \u00e9l\u00e9ments optimistes et a parfois m\u00eame des moments humoristiques.<\/p>\n<p>Les amateurs de Kubrick seront enthousiasm\u00e9 de d\u00e9couvrir cette \u0153uvre sensorielle et profonde.<\/p>\n<h3>International Competition<br \/>\nBenjamin Dickinson, US,
