Vis Moot Fribourg Team Application Process
We are looking forward to finding motivated candidates for the Fribourg Vis Moot team 2026/2027.
The new season of Vis Moot – the most prestigious legal competition also known as “Olympic Games for Law Students” will start in September 2026 and finish in April 2027 (for a glimpse of what the Moot looks like – watch this video).
Our Team has reached great results – first place twice in a row in 2025 and 2026 (The World Best Memorandum for Claimant and the Best Memorandum for Respondent) – guided by an experienced coach Véra Bykova (Lecturer at UNIFR, Magister Juris candidate at Oxford).
We are accepting applications from students in any year of BLaw (1, 2 or 3 year), MLaw, as well as from the LLM candidates until 31 May 2026 at the latest.
Applications shall be sent to vismootfribourg@gmail.com and vera.bykova@unifr.ch, together with the following mandatory documents:
- Motivation Letter,
- CV,
- transcripts of grades (Matura/maturité & University grades).
Successful candidates will receive an invitation to complete a short written assignment (with a deadline in July, after the exam session) and will be invited to an online interview in July.
