Team Members 27th Vis Moot

Rachel Cudré-Mauroux

Rachel Cudré-Mauroux is a Master of Law student at the University of Fribourg. After having obtained her Bachelor’s degree at the same university in 2018 with the bilingual and european law mentions, she worked as a summer trainee in the international arbitration department of a major swiss law firm. Rachel is fluent in French, English, German and Italian.

Max Hoffet

Max Hoffet obtained his Bachelor of Law at the University of Fribourg and is currently in his second semester of obtaining his Master of Law at the same University. During his Bachelor degree Max worked in a boutique tax law firm in Zurich. He also participated in the ELSA committee of the University of Fribourg, which he presided during one year. He is fluent in German and English, conversational in French and Czech. He has basic knowledge of Spanish and Russian. 

Vincent Villoz

Vincent Villoz is a Master of Law student at the University of Fribourg. After having obtained his Bachelor’s degree with Bilingual and European Law mentions, he started his Master of Law at the Durham University. He worked as a summer trainee in a major swiss law firm and he is currently working for the Chair of Obligation Law and European Private Law at the University of Fribourg. Vincent is fluent in French, English and German.

David Dafflon

David Dafflon obtained his Bachelor of Law at the University of Fribourg and is currently in his first semester of Master of Law at the same University. During his Bachelor, David did an internship in a trust company in Geneva and was a tutor in administrative law. He fluently speaks French, Spanish, English and German and has basic knowledge of Italian.

Coaches 27th Vis Moot

Isabelle Cordey

Isabelle Cordey participated in the Vis Moot in 2014/2015 for the team of Fribourg and is currently interning at Kellerhals Carrard in Bern in preparation for her bar exam. Previously, she worked at Lalive as an arbitration intern and for Professor Pierre Tercier in his capacity as arbitrator. She coached the team of Fribourg for the year 2016/2017 and 2018/2019.

Noé Luisoni

Noé Luisoni is a Master of Law student at the University of Fribourg. After having obtained his Bachelor’s degree at the same university in 2018, he worked as a summer trainee in a major swiss law firm in Geneva. He participated in the 26th Willem C. Vis Moot and is currently working part time as an arbitration assistant for an independent arbitrator. Noé is fluent in German, French and English. 

Alec Ray

Alec Ray is working as a lawyer in a Geneva law firm. He graduated from the Universities of Fribourg and Zurich, and previously took part in the Vis Moot Court for the University of Fribourg, both as a mootie and as a coach. Alec is fluent in French, English and German.

Victoria Rodriguez Goyena

Victoria Rodriguez Goyena is an Argentine lawyer and currently an LL.M. candidate of the Master in International Dispute Settlement (MIDS) for the academic period 2019-2020 in Geneva. Victoria has obtained her law degree from the University of Buenos Aires, her Master degree in Corporate/Business Law in University of San Andres, and she has coached teams for the Willem C. Vis Moot and the Foreign Direct Investment Moot in both universities. She has worked in dispute resolution teams of law firms in Argentina and in the litigation area of the National Ministry of Treasury. 

David Schmid

David Schmid obtained his Master of Law in 2019 and currently works as an Assistant at the Chair of Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure at the University of Fribourg. He participated in the Willem C. Vis Moot in 2017/2018. David is fluent in German and English and conversational in French.
